The 13th International Conference on Inelastic X-ray Scattering, IXS2024, will be held in Himeji, Japan from 8 to 13 September 2024. The meeting will be at the Arcrea HIMEJI, a new conference center near the heart of the city.This conference will continue the IXS series of meetings, now held biennially and most recently hosted by Diamond Light Source in Oxford in 2022. It will bring together scientists from all over the world interested in the use and development of inelastic X-ray scattering to address a broad range of scientific problems. IXS2024 is your opportunity to share new scientific discoveries and the latest developments in instrumentation, theory, and experimental approaches and to discuss future directions in the field with your colleagues.
